Yes, our very first RSVP came back! And I have to say, Mr. Aardvark's aunty won the race on that one! I am pretty sure everyone (or almost everyone) has gotten their invites by now so (since we are already getting RSVPs and all) I should be able to finally reveal them this week!
Just a little bit of wear and tear, Nothing too bad though.
In the above you will see our very high tech method for keeping track of the RSVPs in case people forgot to put their names on them. Note the upper left corner. Yes, we numbered them. No we did not get fancy and use invisible ink or some system of squiggles. I don't think it marred the over all aesthetic of the invitation suit.
The other piece of mail was a bit more mysterious, it was not a post card. It came from my Grandmother. This fact was made clear by the abundance of return address labels: (yes, there was one on the front too)
I have to say I am impressed with my G-ma's shutterfly skills (skillz?). This is one cute invitation! AND it's one of my very favorite colors (purple) AND it has my very favorite engagement picture one it AND it's an invitation to a party for me. Pretty much perfect in every way. Both of my grandma's are teaming up to put on the shower, and I'm sure it will be a blast*!
Have you had an exciting mail day recently?
*I have been very delinquent in telling you about my registering process. More on that to come!
